Flywheel and Damper
Our indoor rowers respond to your effort on every stroke, so you are in full control of your exertion and resistance at all times. The spiral damper allows you to easily adjust the airflow to the flywheel, so you can change the feel of the stroke to suit your preference. The flywheel design minimizes noise while maximizing a smooth feel.

Low Profile
With its 14” (35.6 cm) seat height, the Model D keeps a low profile.

Storage and Mobility
The Model D features a quick-release (no tools required!) framelock mechanism, so you can easily separate the machine into two pieces for storage. Caster wheels on the front foot allow you to roll the fully-assembled machine into position.

Adjustable Footrests and Ergonomic Handle
We use adjustable footrests on our indoor rowers for quick and easy sizing. (Footrests accommodate a wide range of shoe sizes.) Our comfortable, ergonomic handle features a 10 degree bend that allows you to row with a natural arm and hand position.

Nickel Plated Chain
Nickel plated chain: looks good and works hard. The nickel plating allows for longer periods between oiling, so, even if maintenance isn’t your strong suit, the Model D will still feel silky smooth during your next workout.

Stainless Steel Track
We cap the aluminum monorail with a stainless-steel track to ensure a smooth, gliding seat movement.

Features
Packed with Features, Easy to Operate
We pack a lot of functionality into the PM5, but we also make sure it’s easy to use. The monitor will power up and provide data as soon as the flywheel starts spinning, so you don’t need to push a single button to get started.

If you prefer to dive in to all the functions the monitor provides, the easy menu-driven operation lets you quickly access preset workouts, save favorite workouts, review past workout results and much more.

Data and Displays
The PM5 provides distance, speed, pace, calories, and watts for each workout you do, and you can choose between five display options: all data, force curve, bar chart, large print and having a paceboat/pacer.
The PM5’s backlit display provides increased visibility. It illuminates automatically when the monitor powers up and stays illuminated during your workout.

Wireless Heart Rate Monitoring
The PM5 supports ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart for wireless heart rate monitoring. To use this feature, you will need a chest belt that supports one of these transmission technologies. Please note that the PM5 supports Bluetooth Smart, not Bluetooth, which is a different technology.

USB Flash Drive Compatible
The PM5 provides two means of storing your performance data: the internal memory in the monitor itself or with a USB flash drive (included). The USB flash drive stores your workout data and preferences, and makes your data portable. With our free Concept2 Utility software, you can upload data to your online logbook or transfer data to your Mac or PC.  Compatible with FAT and FAT32 USB formats only

Power Generation
The PM5 takes two D cell batteries. During your workout, the monitor draws power from the spinning flywheel to extend battery life.

On those days when you need a little extra motivation or just want a break from your regular routine, check out the PM5 games.  They’re also great teaching tools for both kids and adults! Choose from the Fish Game, Darts, Target Training and Biathlon.

Racing

The accuracy of the Performance Monitor makes it ideal for racing and competition. With a PM5, you can compete against your teammates or workout rivals, whether they're in the same room or on another continent. The PM5 supports wired machine to machine racing.
